I will start is by far. Some years ago, one N-region was governed by a governor. Hardly something certainly bad or good can be said about him as the term of his “reign” was too short. But by the word of mouth, as I think, he was not a stupid one. The relation with the International Monetary Fund he required if not to break up but to reconsider. But he has some more sound thoughts except for this one: he was quite keen on his health. Although he was not lucky neither in first nor in the second: the policy of the party concerning IMF was not the same as it is now, and the personal doctor he had was a professor whose professional and personal features me and major part of my colleagues do not rate high, to put it mildly This very professor who immediately started to feed the governor with a bunch of the most expensive medicines, due to which the latter had drop of pressure, itching in the most intimate places etc. The professor continued to experiment and the governor’s organism continued to fight against all this treatment. Arterial pressure that was  decreased by one medicines was increased by the others, the caused allergy was cured by no less expensive antiallergic pills. Nevertheless, this "courtier Aesculapius" did not consider it was worth to consult with his colleagues, evidently thinking about himself a Master in all the spheres of medicine. The situation continued to develop in a more funny way. The governor thought he was poisoning by canteen food of the local “White House”…the professor did invent nothing better then to pull the governor to  Moscow for a consultation with a “Star”.

To all appearences, the “Star” has solved all the problems od the governor`s paranoya in the twinkling of an eye – by concealing one of the most expensive modern medicines which among other negative effects has this very one. But if the governor along with self-assured professor have consulted someone of the local psychiatrists I would have never learned this story. Although the star of the city or others from his escort felt very indifferent toward the doctor’s ethics. The governor the next day was back to his state affairs but the news that he has “flees in his brain” the next day has already been known to the region he governed. And

What I am talking all these things for……

Despite the changes of mass opinion to the psychiatry it will not be positively changed very soon. A person who at least once experienced  grave psychiatric problems and which have become known to the wide circle of people  will forever stay  an “underhuman” in the eyes of this very “wide circle”.  If a person got registered inpsychoneurologic dispensary, to obtain, for example, a driver`s licence he can now only by giving a bribe and about majority of jobs he can forget forever.

And today when I m typing this text I attended a conference the topic of which was the examination of a patient who had spent the last 8 months in  mental hospital and who was injected bulk of medicines that give nothing to him except for side-effects.

 Due to the overall opinion (including that of mine) the patient will be discharged from the mental house only on the basis of recommendation not to contact his ex-wife and the requirement not to write letters to security service with the request to arrest her.

To top the discussion off, the presiding this conference professor expressed his regrets that over the 8 months out of the good bus driver due to the existing instructions the patient was driven to the state of the second group invalid.
